Mitch Lowe
Meet Your Coach
Mitch Lowe is a member of the PGA of America and has more than seventeen years experience as an award-winning private coach, including time spent as an instructor for PGA TOUR, NATIONWIDE TOUR and Canadian PGA TOUR players, in addition to thousands of amateur golfers.He played in his first tournament at the age of nine and went on to letter four years while on the University of the Pacific's golf team. In 1990, he turned Professional and has played on various tours including Nike Tour and Canadian PGA Tours.
Mitch has played in four (4) major championships (PGA Championship at Hazeltine in 2009, Whistling Straits in 2010, Kiawah Island in 2012 and Baltusrol in 2016) and nine PGA TOUR events including the AT&T at Pebble Beach and the Reno Tahoe Open.
Mitch became a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America in 1999. He has since been honored five times as the Northern California PGA Player of the Year in 2001, 2005, 2009, 2011 & 2012.
In 2010 Mitch tied for 6th place in the prestigious PGA Professional National Championship at French Lick Golf Resort in Indiana and he tied for 7th place in the 2012 PGA Professional National Championship at Bayonet/Blackhorse GC in Monterey, Ca.
All instructional programs are tailored to the needs of each player using the latest teaching techniques and equipment. His teaching philosophy focuses on getting players to enjoy the game of golf and to feel as though they are constantly improving.
Getting students to understand how the club is being swung and how that affects ball flight is the fundamental goal. Any swing changes that are made will be done to directly correct or change ball flights. These changes are made simply and naturally with easy and manageable swing thoughts that translate into immediate results.
From getting young players ready for college competition through solid swing fundamentals and good course management, to customizing individual or group lessons for men and women, Mitch welcomes the opportunity to assist all players in elevating their golf skills and their love for the game.
